Fall Move-In
MOVE-IN REQUIREMENTS
Before the big day arrives, make sure to complete the following requirements:
- Obtain your Student ID to have access to the hall and meals when you move-in. All students must have one. Follow the next steps:
- Log in to OneTech with your username and password
- Access the main menu next to the mvý Logo
- From the main menu, click "Self-Service Banner (SSB)"
- Click on the "Student" tab
- Locate the "Online Student ID Request" block
- Follow the prompts to submit an ID request
- Make sure you are enrolled in classes. Contact your academic advisor if you are not sure.
- Get informed about financial deadlines to make sure payments are made on time and avoid being dropped for non-pay. Contact Student Accounts for more information.
MovE-In Date
- Sunday, August 16, 2026
- From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. by appointment. Move-In assistance available.
- New students are encouraged to check-in before 1pm to be able to fully participate
in orientation actitivies that afternoon.
- Extended check in: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Move-In assistance not available.
- Appointment selection starts:
- Tuesday, July 21 at 10 a.m. for new students
- Tuesday, July 28 at 10 a.m. for returning students
- Appointment selection closes on August 12, 2026 at 8 p.m.
What to Bring
- Tech ID or government-issued photo ID
- Housing Confirmation email with QR code
- Refillable water bottle
- Moving supplies (Carts and dollies may be available in limited quantity)
- Personal items packed in labeled boxes or baskets. Example: John Smith M Street 533.
Move In Steps
Step 1: Before You Arrive
A. Complete Emergency Contact Form
The Emergency Contact Form will be available in Roompact beginning August 4 and must be completed by August 12 at 8:00pm.

- Log in with your OneTech credentials at
- Select Forms
- Complete the Emergency Contact Form
B. Review your assigned move-in appointment time.
To set up an appointment:

- Log in the Housing Portal with mvý username and password (OneTech/Housing & Dining)
- Select the Move In Appointment option from the menu
- Set an appointment. An email confirmation will be sent to your mvý email account.
- If you need to change your appointment, return to the same page, cancel the original appointment and set a
new one.
C. Locate your Housing Confirmation email with QR code

- Will be emailed on August 13
Step 2: Check In
Regular Check-In (8:00am–1:00pm)

- Go to Tucker Coliseum during your assigned move-in appointment time.
- Enter through O Street (across from Whataburger)
- Park in lots BB, J, or R (see parking map)
- Follow posted signs to enter
Extended Check-In (1:30pm–3:30pm)

- Students arriving after 1:00pm should report to Doc Bryan Student Services Building,
Suite 153
- Enter through O Street (across from Whataburger)
- Park in lots BB, J, or R (see parking map)
- Follow posted signs
There will be no check-in between 1:00pm and 1:30pm while equipment is transferred
from Tucker Coliseum to Doc Bryan.
Step 3: Emergency Contact Verification
- Students who completed the Emergency Contact Form prior to arrival may proceed directly
to hall check-in.
- Students who did not complete the form in advance must:
- Complete the form on-site
- Obtain a Verification Pass before checking in
Step 4: Pick Up Keys
- Locate the table for your residence hall
- Present your Tech ID/photo ID and QR code
- Submit your Verification Pass (if the Emergency Contact form is completed on-site)
- Receive your keys and orientation materials
Step 5: Move Into Your Hall
- Follow signs to your assigned residence hall
- Park in the lot designated for your hall
For curbside unloading at Nutt, M Street, Paine, and Jones:
- Vehicles must have at least two people present (driver and helper)
- Drivers must remain with the vehicle at all times
- Vehicles may not be left unattended at the curb
- Drivers must move vehicles immediately after unloading
- *Volunteers may assist with unloading belongings.
*By accepting assistance from volunteers, residents acknowledge that the university
is not responsible for damage to personal belongings.
Step 6: Complete Required Housing Forms
Log in to with OneTech username and password and complete the following forms by August 21, 2026
A. Room Damage Report

- Report any pre-existing room conditions immediately after move-in.
- Submitting accurate documentation helps prevent unnecessary damage charges during
move-out.
B. Roommate Agreement

- This form helps roommates discuss expectations and establish shared guidelines for
living together successfully.

Need to move in after Sunday, August 16?
- Arriving Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Go to Doc Bryan Student Services building, suite 153, to pick up your keys

- Complete Room Damage Report and Roommate Agreement by August 21, 2026

- Contact the RA on duty for your building (number posted on the door) to pick up your keys

WHAT TO BRING/NOT TO BRING Moving Tips
Meal plans

- Fall 2026: August 16 with lunch to December 11 with lunch
- Spring 2027: January 10 with dinner to May 05 with lunch
- All on campus students except those living in the University Commons Apartments are
required to purchase a meal plan.
- Meal plans are semester based and are designed to offer convenience, variety, and
affordability with varying combinations of meals.
- Meal plans are non-transferable.
- Any inquiries for meal plans should be directed to Student Accounts at (479) 968-027.
- How do I purchase a meal plan?
- On- Campus residents: Select your meal plan in the housing portal after you sign your housing contract,
make the $100 room prepayment, and select or are assigned a room.
- Off-campus students: Should purchase a commuter meal plan following the next steps:
- Log in to OneTech with your username and password
- Access the main menu next to the mvý Logo
- From the main menu, click "Self-Service Banner (SSB)"
- Click on the "Student" tab
- Click on the "Commuter Meal Plan Sign-Up" block
- Can I change my meal plan? Yes. Until the 5th day of classes at 5 p.m.
- On campus students may change their meal plan in the housing portal.
